December 2024 Hawaii CLE Deadline: What Attorneys Need to Know

As an attorney practicing in Hawaii, December 31st marks a crucial date on your calendar. With the Hawaii Continuing Legal Education deadline just around the corner, it’s time to ensure you’ve completed all the necessary credits to maintain your license and stay in good standing with the Hawaii State Bar Association.

We understand that your time is valuable. That’s why we’re here to help you navigate Hawaii’s CLE requirements smoothly.

What Are My Deadlines and Credit Requirements?

If you’re practicing law in HI, you need to complete 3 CLE credits per calendar year (although 9 CLE credits are recommended). At least 1 of those credits must be in Ethics every third year.

You have until December 31st to complete and report your CLEs (SproutEd handles the reporting for you).

What Types of CLE Courses Are Accepted in Hawaii?

All 3 credits can be On-Demand or Live Webcast courses.
