What Are My Deadlines and Credit Requirements?
If you’re practicing law in IN, you need to complete 36 CLE credits every 3 years. At least 3 of those credits must be in Ethics. Additionally, at least 6 CLE credit hours must be completed per year.

How do I report my CLE credits?
SproutEd Reports your attendance and credit to the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education (CCLE) within 30 days of each course.
At the end of each year the CCLE will send a transcript to each Indiana attorney with the courses completed for the current year and reporting period, which must be verified by the attorney.
Can I carry over extra CLE credits?
No credits may be carried over to the next reporting period.
What are the consequences of not completing my CLE in time?
Noncompliant attorneys face a $150 late fee for not meeting CLE requirements. If an attorney fails to complete the required CLE, the Indiana Supreme Court will issue an order suspending that attorney. The attorney may petition for reinstatement by completing his or her CLE requirements and paying a $200 reinstatement fee, in addition to any applicable surcharge. You can read more here.
