Missouri CLE Requirements for Attorneys

Missouri MCLE Requirements Overview

Total Credits: 15 credit hours per year
- At least 3 hours in Ethics, 1 of which must be in Elimination of Bias
Credit Format: All 15 credits can be from Live Webcast courses, 6 credits may be On Demand courses
All Courses on SproutEd are approved for credit in Missouri

CLE Deadline: June 30th
Reporting Deadline: July 31st
Reporting and Compliance Procedure: Attorneys report their credits on their Annual Report of Compliance, found on their Member Portal for The Missouri Bar. Attorneys who fails to meet the CLE requirement will be notified by September 30th. Attorneys who receive notice of non-compliance must file information supporting compliance within 30 days.

Carryover Credit: All Live Webcast credits may be carried over to the next reporting period
All credit hours may be completed online
All courses on SproutEd are approved for credit in Missouri

Missouri does not distinguish newly admitted attorneys for CLE purposes.

All attorneys are subject to the same CLE requirements.

Attorneys can complete all 15 credits on SproutEd. All of SproutEd’s courses are approved for credit in Missouri.
