Credit Requirements

  • Total Credits: 15 credit hours per year
    • At least 2 credits in Ethics

  • Credit Format: All 15 credits can be from Live Webcasts, 8 can be from On-Demand courses, all of which can be taken on SproutEd

  • All Courses on SproutEd are approved for credit in Wyoming

Compliance & Reporting

  • CLE Deadline: December 31st

  • Reporting Deadline: January 15th
     
  • Reporting and Compliance Procedure: Attorneys report credits using their Wyoming State Bar Member Portal. Attorneys will be notified of the number of CLE credits on record by November 15th of each year, providing time to complete any remaining credits.

  • Carryover Credit: All Live Webcast credits may be carried over for 2 years

  • All courses on SproutEd are approved for credit in Wyoming

  • All courses can be taken online with SproutEd

Wyoming CLE Requirements FAQs

Attorneys within their first calendar year after admission to the bar.

Newly admitted attorneys are exempt from the CLE requirement during the calendar year they were admitted.

Attorneys can complete all 15 credits online with SproutEd.
