Legal Risk & Professional Liability Expert
Dieter Clauss is Vice President of Clauss & Co., Inc., where he leads the professional liability program for Lawyers Insurance Group. He specializes in advising law firms and attorneys on risk management, professional responsibility, and malpractice coverage, helping legal professionals safeguard their practices while meeting client and ethical obligations. Before joining Clauss, he worked in commercial underwriting at RT Specialty, building a strong foundation in insurance and risk analysis. A graduate of Cazenovia College and Villanova’s School of Business, Dieter combines industry expertise with a passion for supporting the legal profession through proactive solutions and education.

Principal Attorney & Founder

Stacey Carrasco is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Carrasco Legal Group, a boutique estate and business planning law firm based in Silver Spring, Maryland, serving clients throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. With more than 20 years of legal experience, Ms. Carrasco counsels individuals, families, and small business owners on comprehensive planning strategies, including wills and trusts, incapacity planning (powers of attorney and advance directives), and business planning with a focus on entity formation, continuity, succession, and exit strategies.

Ms. Carrasco is known for her thoughtful, education-focused approach, transparent flat-fee structure, and commitment to culturally competent representation. She is dedicated to helping clients make informed decisions that protect their families, preserve their legacies, and support long-term wealth transfers via personal and business goals.

Ms. Carrasco earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law and is admitted to practice in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
