Meet Michael

Litigation Attorney, Speaker & Author

Michael DeBlis III, Esq., LL.M. is a partner at DeBlis Law, where he represents clients in tax compliance, criminal defense, and complex regulatory matters. He earned his J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and later obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. Before entering private practice, Mr. DeBlis served as a public defender in New Jersey, where he tried serious felony cases and developed extensive courtroom experience.  In addition to his litigation practice, he advises individuals and businesses on tax controversy matters, including IRS and state investigations. Known for his dynamic courtroom presence and narrative-driven advocacy style, Mr. DeBlis frequently speaks on trial strategy, witness examination, and persuasive communication techniques for attorneys seeking to sharpen their courtroom skills.
