KS CLE FAQs
How do I report my CLE credits?
SproutEd Reports your attendance and credit to the Kansas CLE Commission within 30 days of course completion. In August, the Kansas CLE Commission issues an annual report to each attorney. If the report is accurate, no further action is required. If the report is inaccurate, the attorney must notify the Commission within 30 days.
Can I carry over extra CLE credits?
10 credit hours may be carried over into the next reporting period, except Ethics Credits which may not be carried over.
What are the consequences of not completing my CLE in time?
A notice is sent to each attorney that has not met the CLE requirements (fees and/or hours) the first week in August. The attorney has 30 days from the date the certified is mailed to correct the deficiency. If the attorney does not complete the requirements by that time, they will be suspended shortly thereafter, and unable to practice law until the reinstatement order has been signed and filed with the Kansas Supreme Court.
What are the requirements for newly admitted attorneys in Kansas?
