What Are My Deadlines and Credit Requirements?

If you’re practicing law in Virginia, you need to complete 12 CLE credits annually, which includes 2 credits in Ethics. While you have until October 31st to complete your CLEs, you have an additional window until December 15th to report your credits to the Virginia State Bar.

What Types of CLE Courses Are Accepted in Virginia?

Virginia requires attorneys to complete at least 4 credit hours of live programs each year. The remaining 8 credits can be taken from On-Demand courses at your convenience.
