Credit Requirements
- Total Credits: 12 credit hours per year
- At least 3 hours in Ethics
- At least 3 hours in Ethics
- All Courses on SproutEd are approved for Credit in Alaska
Credit Format: all 12 credits may be taken as Live Webinar or On Demand
Compliance & Reporting
- CLE Deadline: December 31st
- Reporting Deadline: February 1st
- Attendance Reporting: Attorneys report credits online through their member portal

Alaska CLE Requirements FAQs
Attorneys are newly admitted in the year of their admission.
New attorneys are exempt from MCLE requirements during their year of admission but are required to take an ethics program specifically for newly admitted attorneys.
Attorneys can complete all 12 credits on SproutEd. All of SproutEd’s courses are approved for credit in Alaska.
Record of approved CLE hours must be maintained for the two most recent reporting periods and are subject to audit by the Bar Association.
