Credit Requirements
- Total Credits: 12 credit hours per year
- At least 2 hours in Ethics
- At least 2 hours in Ethics
- Credit Format: All 12 credits can be On-Demand or Live Webinar courses
- All Courses on SproutEd are approved for credit in Kentucky
Compliance & Reporting
- CLE Deadline: June 30th
- Reporting Deadline: August 10th
- Reporting Procedure: Attorneys report their attendance by logging into their Member Profile with the Kentucky Bar Association
Additional Info
- Carryover Credit: 24 Credits may be carried over into the following two reporting periods including up to 4 in Ethics
- All credit hours may be completed online
- All courses on SproutEd are approved for credit in Kentucky

Attorneys are newly admitted for the 12 months following admission to the Kentucky Bar.
Newly admitted attorneys must complete the Kentucky State Bar’s New Lawyer Program offered twice per year.
Attorneys can complete all 12 credits on SproutEd. All of SproutEd’s courses are approved for credit in Kentucky.
