New Members: Free 1 credit course with code FREECLE

Is live webcast or in-person CLE required in Nevada?

No – Nevada does not require live webcast or in-person CLE; all 13 annual credits may be completed via live webcast or on-demand courses.
In-person attendance is optional as long as the program is approved under Nevada’s MCLE regulations.

Nevada CLE format and hours

  • Annual total – 13 credits each calendar year, including 10 general, 2 ethics, and 1 substance abuse or mental health credit.
  • Eligible formats – live seminars (in person or live webinar/webcast) and alternative program formats such as recorded audio or video are approved for credit.
  • No live minimum – Nevada’s MCLE regulations authorize both live and recorded formats without a numerical cap, so all credits may be completed online.

Timing and compliance

  • Completion and affirmation – finish credits and submit the annual Affirmation of Attendance and Compliance by December 31, with a possible extension to March 1 for a fee.

Key Takeaway
Nevada does not impose a live or in-person minimum – attorneys may earn all 13 credits via live webcasts or approved on-demand programs, with the required subject-matter breakdown and standard year-end affirmation.
