The CLE reporting deadline in Minnesota is August 31 following the end of your 3-year compliance period.

Minnesota attorneys must complete required CLE credits by June 30 of the final year of their reporting cycle, then report compliance by August 31.

Minnesota CLE Reporting & Compliance Rules

  • Reporting Period: 3 years, July 1 through June 30, per your assigned category.
  • Completion Deadline: June 30 of the final year to earn credits.
  • Reporting Deadline: August 31 following the June 30 cutoff.
  • Late Fee / Extensions: $75 late filing fee after August 31; extensions may be requested via OASIS to maintain active status.
  • Special Credit Requirements: Of the 45 hours required, attorneys must include 3 ethics hours, 2 elimination of bias hours, and (from July 1, 2024) 1 mental health/substance use hour.
